The York­shire Teams and Sprints week­end saw our swim­mers add a fur­ther 69 medals to this year’s haul to retain the Top Age Group Trophy.

The final week­end of the York­shire Cham­pi­onships saw City of Leeds rise to the Top once more, this time assert­ing their dom­i­nance at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

It was fan­tas­tic to have so many of our team there com­pet­ing. Even more excit­ing was the fact that between 102 ath­letes, we fin­ished with a Top 10 plac­ing 482 times over the 3 weekends.

Of 33 BAG­CAT podi­um places avail­able, City of Leeds placed in a stag­ger­ing 16, includ­ing a ​“1, 2, 3” in the Boys 12 years Age Group.

At the cul­mi­na­tion of the Cham­pi­onships the club retained its hold of the George Lester Tro­phy for Top Age Group Club.
