After a thrilling week­end, City of Leeds regained the top senior team tro­phy at the British Gas spon­sored York­shire SA Senior/​Junior Cham­pi­onships at the Aquat­ics Cen­tre, JCCS. 

Yorkshire Bank trophy final standings

  1. City of Leeds 121.5 points
  2. City of Sheffield 96 points
  3. Borough of Kirklees 33.5 points

Hav­ing lost the tro­phy to City of Sheffield in 2008 and 2009, both teams were expect­ing a close fight and it proved to be so. 

Con­grat­u­la­tions to all swim­mers and coach­es for their efforts. The tro­phy will be pre­sent­ed to City of Leeds at the first coun­ty age group meet in Sheffield on Feb 21/22, as City of Sheffield for­got to bring the tro­phy with them!
